Edition Information

Where can I see the art in person?

Dreaux Fine art participates in shows 5-7 times a year throughout the West Coast of the United States. Click here join our email list  to find out about the next show near you.

What is a Limited Edition?

Limited Edition means that there will only ever be a predetermined number of prints produced of each photograph. Once the edition sells out, there will never be another reprint of that photograph. Limited editions come with a certificate of authenticity and a digitally imprinted signature. (Read signature Details below titled “Is Art Signed”). Limited edition sizes are generally 10 per size (5 sizes). Limited editions start at 24 x 16 in size. Unsigned open editions of these images may be available at sizes 18 x12 and smaller.

Are there any additional Edition types available for purchase?

Dreaux Fine Art photographs are created in multiple editions. For more information about any of the editions listed below, please contact Cameron Dreaux via email (Cameron@dreaux.com) or by simply visiting our contact page.

Artist Proofs

With each standard image release, only 1 of each size (generally 5 sizes) numbered and signed High-Definition Artist Proofs are made available. These editions are regarded as personal to the artist and therefore highly sought after by collectors.

Open Editions

Unlike limited editions, Open Edition prints do not have a predetermined number of prints and are available in multiple media types.

Acrylic Blocks

Special edition prints in the size of  18 x 12 or smaller. Generally of Limited Edition images. Acrylic Blocks are not signed and are considered an open edition.

Is the art signed?

Yes. Each Limited Edition artwork features a digitally embedded signature on the face. Paint pen, hand signed signatures are available upon request. Please feel free to reach out to me (Cameron@dreaux.com) to discuss the advantages / disadvantages for the different signature types. Open Editions are not signed.

Care and Handling

How do I hang my artwork?

Your Dreaux Fine Art edition has been shipped with the appropriate hanging equipment already attached to the back of the frame. Picture hangers and/or wall anchors are recommended but are not included with your purchase as we are not aware of how and where you wish to mount your photograph.

How do I clean my artwork?

Image Surface

Extreme caution should be used whenever it is necessary to clean the surface of your Fine Art photograph. Per the manufacturer’s instructions, dust the picture glazing with a soft, damp cloth or chamois. Apply only light pressure, rinse with clean water, and dry by blotting the cloth. Dry or gritty cloths may cause surface scratches and create a static electric charge on the surface.

Do not use ammonia based window cleaning sprays, kitchen scouring compounds, or solvents such as acetone, gasoline, or lacquer thinner to clean your image, as this may cause permanent damage to your image. We recommend 50/50 vinegar and water mixture or non ammonia window spray. Only use high quality microfiber cloth.

Acrylic Blocks can only be cleaned with acrylic cleaner and high quality microfiber cloth.

Frame

A soft, dry cloth may be used to remove spots or debris. Avoid the use of liquid and chemical cleaning products, as these will cause the protective finish to deteriorate over time.

A high-quality microfiber cloth may be used on our black cube frames. Apply only light pressure, rinse with clean water, and dry by blotting the cloth. We recommend using compressed or canned air to remove any surface dust that accumulates on the liner over time, making sure that no moisture is expelled from the can during the cleaning process.

How do I light my artwork?

Lighting your image properly involves using a mixture of spotlights and spreads. The proper degree of spread will depend on the distance of the light fixture from the photograph. We like 5000k bulbs the best for lighting the work. It is best to seek the advice of an electrician or lighting professional to ensure the proper installation of lighting to complement your space.

Return FAQ:

Can I exchange my Limited Edition artwork for a different photograph?

Each Dreaux Limited Edition is custom produced to order. As such, we are unable to change your artwork once the order is placed.

Will Dreaux Fine Art buy back my artwork?

Dreaux Fine Art does not offer a “buy back” program. Additionally, when it comes to the potential selling of any piece in your collection, Dreaux Fine Art does not handle or participate in third-party transactions or secondary market sales. We strongly suggest doing thorough market research and consulting a certified professional appraiser. They can assist in answering more detailed questions about this process.

Can I cancel my Limited Edition artwork?

All works are custom orders. Production of the purchased work(s) begins immediately after purchase, and shipment will occur as soon as possible after production is complete. As a result, the work(s) cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded at any time. In light of the substantial production costs incurred once production has begun, any request to cancel an order or otherwise modify the produced image (e.g., increasing or reducing size, changing image, etc.) will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
